Assistant Curator Amy Cohen is an exhibition developer with 20 years of experience in museums and libraries. Cohen currently serves as the Executive Director of Exhibit Envoy, a nonprofit that develops and travels exhibitions for small museums, libraries, cultural centers, and nontraditional exhibition spaces throughout California and the U.S. In this role, Cohen has overseen the research, development, design, and tours of over 50 art, history, and natural history exhibitions. She has presented on exhibitions and on museum best practices at regional, state, and national conferences and is a former board member of Cultural Connections, a nonprofit providing professional development for Bay Area arts and culture workers. Cohen earned her B.A. in History (summa cum laude) from the College of Wooster and her M.A. in Museum Studies (Exhibition Development focus) from John F. Kennedy University. She resides in sunny Oakland, California.
